Group Therapy

SOAR, Inc. provides a unique group therapy program developed in consultation with top clinicians in the field. Our adult program offers a tri-phasic approach that focuses on developing positive coping skills, reprocessing painful memories, and creating healthy and supportive relationships. We have adapted this approach in our adolescent program to meet our teen clients’ needs.

"Psychoeducational" groups combine information sharing with therapeutic support for those who would like to learn more about helping victims. These groups are available to parents, caregivers, spouses and partners of survivors.

Group therapy services for teens are free of charge thanks to funding through the Delaware Criminal Justice Council by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime.
