Clinical Contractor

Position Summary:

SOAR, Inc is seeking mental health professionals with an interest in treating children, adolescent, and adult survivors of sexual trauma. This position is a contracted position. Services provided include individual, group, and family/couple psychotherapy. SOAR, Inc offers up to 75% of the compensation rate billed to most major insurance plans to contractors. Continuing education and training opportunities are available weekly on Fridays from Noon to 3pm.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy for populations in recovery from sexual trauma and resultant psychological conditions. 

  • Conduct case management for a consistent client caseload

  • Complete mental health assessments and evaluation, resiliency plans and recommendations, and diagnostic summaries and conceptualization

  • Present cases monthly in clinical staffing group consultation

  • Develop and maintain clinical records such as treatment plans, progress notes, treatment summaries, and other clinical documents according to licensing and best practice standards.

  • Maintain compliance with SOAR policy, protocol and best practices.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding privileged administrative and client information in a professional manner

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational requirement is a Master’s degree from an accredited institution with a major in, social work, clinical counseling, or psychology.

  • PhD, PsyD, LPC, LPCMH, LCSW, clinical licenses are required. If licensed outside of DE, licensure must be reciprocal.

  • Maintain compliance with requested documents for personnel file as deemed necessary (criminal background checks, liability insurance, proof of licensure/certifications, proof of CEUs, etc)

  • Must have working knowledge of HIPPA, licensing requirements, APA Code of Ethics, and other overseeing bodies.

  • Must demonstrate the following characteristics: Sound clinical judgment and working knowledge of evidenced-based practices in treating trauma, and other mental health diagnoses. Demonstrate excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve. Works well independently and collaboratively in groups. Maintains professional consistency with clients, staff, families, agencies, and the public. Ability to manage crisis situations and respond appropriately. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to make decisions in an objective and ethical manner.
