Due to COVID-19 we haven’t been able to hold any of our in person events that help support the children, adolescents, and adults that have been victims of sexual abuse since late 2019. We have made the decision to hold our Annual 5K Ostrich Run/Walk virtually again this year due to the constant changes in COVID-19 variants and the effect they have had on our community.

 

SOAR is now currently holding its 12th Annual 5K Ostrich Run/Walk VIRTUALLY to raise both awareness of sexual abuse and funds to support our programs to help victims become survivors. This family friendly event will give participants until November 8th to complete the 5K on their own time. This would be a perfect opportunity for friends, family, and loved ones to get outside and to spend time together (socially distant of course) and help raise awareness for a great cause.
